DR. OLAKUNLE ONAKOYA: - CONSULTANT ORTHOPAEDIC AND TRAUMA SURGEON.
He graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos with an MBBS degree in May 1984.
He started his post graduate residency training at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi in 1986.
He went on to complete his residency training in the U.K, working at the St. George's Hospital, Tooting Broadway, London as well as other hospitals in the Surrey area for the South West Thames Regional Health Authority. He was admitted as a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons, F.W.A.C.S, in October 1995. His areas of special interest include trauma and joint replacement surgery.
DR. MOWA FALASE: CONSULTANT PAEDIATRICIAN/NEONATOLOGIST
She graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, awarded the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1994.
She obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, MRCPCH (UK) in 2003. She had Paediatric training at various hospitals in the U.K, with Neonatology training at the Aberdeen Maternity Hospital having a special interest in Asthma and Allergies.
DR. SIMEON ISAWUMI: - CONSULTANT ANAESTHETIST
He graduated from University college Hospital, University of Ibadan, Ibadan with Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of surgery (MBBS) 1991, Postgraduate Diploma in Anaesthesia 1995 at University College of Medicine, Ibadan.
His area of interest includes Telemedicine, General Anaesthesia, and Intensive care Unit.
DR. CHINYERE UZODIMMA: - CONSULTANT PAEDIATRICIAN/CARDIOLOGIST
She graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2001. She is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP, 2010).
Her area of special interest includes congenital and acquired heart diseases in children.
DR. ANDREW MENE: - CONSULTANT UROLOGIST
He graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Benin with Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of surgery (MBBS) in 1996. He is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS, '09).
His special areas of interest include the management of prostatic diseases, male factor infertility, paediatric urology and endourology.
DR. DAVID BAYAGBONA: - CONSULTANT PHYSICIAN
He graduated from the University of Ibadan with Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of surgery (MBBS) in 1984 and a graduate from University of London in 2000 with Masters degree in Public Health in Developing Countries.
He has a special interest in clinical management of patients with HIV infection.
DR. OLAJIDE OJO: - CONSULTANT PAEDIATRICIAN
He graduated from the University of Ilorin with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He completed his Paediatric training at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), after which he was awarded the Fellowship in Paediatrics by the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. He has also had training at the Northwick Park Hospital, North London and at the Apollo Hospital; Chennai. His area of special interest includes intensive care of neonates and the management of various clinical conditions in infants and older children.
DR. MICHAEL OJI: - CONSULTANT ORTHOPAEDIC AND TRAUMA SURGEON
He graduated from the University of Nigeria Medical School, Nsukka with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 1996. He is a fellow of the Medical College of Surgeons (FMCS-ortho) of the Nigerian Post Graduate Medical College (2008). He is also a trained Infection Control Specialist and an International Ambassador for Infection Control of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. His special interests include angular deformities, extremity injuries and complex fracture fixation, knee arthroscopy, knee and hip joint arthroplasty.
DR. JAMES OGUNSINA: - CONSULTANT RADIOLOGIST
He is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, where he obtained his Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery (MB, ChB) degrees in 1991. He had his postgraduate training in Radiology at LUTH, with the fellowship award (FMCR), from the National postgraduate College, in 2002. He went further to train on the Imaging of Tropical Diseases at Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences/ Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP), USA, and CT/MRI at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad, India in 2004. His area of interest is the CT and MRI investigations.
DR. STELLA OYEFESOBI: - CONSULTANT PHYSIOTHERAPIST
She graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, in 1982 and received a Doctorate in Physiotherapy in 2009 from Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Her areas of special interest include complex post surgical patients, orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain, and neurological disorders. She is a member of Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Registration Board of Nigeria (M.R.T.B.)
DR. BANJO KALE: - CYTOPATHOLOGIST
He graduated from the University of Lagos with Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1972; he holds a diploma in Cytopathology from British Columbia Cancer Agency (BCCA) and Guy's & Lewisham Hospitals, London in 1991. He is the first Nigerian Pathologist member of the British Society of Clinical Cytology. His interest is in health screening and family medicine and has published many research papers in these fields.
DR. VICTORIA SAVAGE: - HEAD, HEALTH ASSESSMENT CLINIC
She graduated from the University of Ibadan, College of Medicine with Bachelor of Medicine,
Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1975. She had worked at various times with the Lagos State
Health Management Board, the Medical Consultants' Group and Drs. Hummel, White and Partners as a General Practitioner before joining Lagoon Hospital's Health Assessment Clinic.
Her area of interest is Health screening and preventive care.
DR. OLATOMI BAMIGBOJE: - CONSULTANT PAEDIATRICIAN
She graduated from the University of Ilorin with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 1998. She is a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMC Paed.2011) and also holds a Part I membership of the West African College of Physicians.
Her areas of special interest include Paediatrics pulmonology with emphasis on asthma and allergy and haematology.
DR. FOLOHUNSO YUSUF: - CONSULTANT OPHTHALMOLOGIST
He graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 2001. He is a Fellow of West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), Fellow of National Postgraduate Medical College (FMCopht), Fellow of International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). He has a Diploma in Vitreoretinal, 2010, from Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre, Tanzania. His areas of special interest include phaco /small incision cataract surgery, retinal diseases and glaucoma.
DR. KUNLE AJAYI: - CONSULTANT OBSTETRICIAN & GYNAECOLOGIST
He graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree in 1999. He is a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS, 2010). He is the Head, Obstetrics and Gynaecology dept.
His areas of special interest include the management of high-risk pregnancies and gynaecological endoscopy.
DR. BENJAMIN OKERE: - CONSULTANT OBSTETRICIAN & GYNAECOLOGIST
He graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Enugu with a Bachelor of Medicine & Medicine(MBBS,1988).He is a Fellow of Medical College Of Obstetrics & Gynaecology(FMCOG,2005),Fellow Of International College Of Surgeons(FICS,2010). His area of interest is in Reproductive Health of all ages and management of MYOMAS.
DR. CHUKWUNWEIKE ODEIGAH: - CONSULTANT OBSTETRICIAN AND GYNAECOLOGIST
He graduated from College of Medicine, University of Lagos with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2002. He received his postgraduate training at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital between 2005 and 2010. He is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). His special interests are in management of high risk pregnancies, minimally invasive gynaecological surgeries and in fertility regulation.
DR. NWACHUKWU NZEGWU: - CONSULTANT RADIOLOGIST
He graduated from the University of Nigeria with a BSc in Microbiology then went onto the Teaching Hospital Enugu where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) degree in 1990. He is a Fellow of the West African Fellow of Surgeons (FWACS, 2001), the National Postgraduate College of Nigeria (FMCR, 2002). He had short attachments in Arrow Park Hospital Wirral Liverpool (UK 2004) and MRI experience in November 2005 at the Mediclinic Pietermaritzburg South Africa, as well as attended several courses in Nigeria. His areas of special interest include Interventional Radiology and MRI.
DR. FOLASHADE ALLI:- CONSULTANT CARDIOLOGIST
She graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1987. She is a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College (FMCP Internal Medicine, Cardiology) 1998, also an International Associate Member of American College of Cardiology. She is a member of the European Society of Cardiology and working group on Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation. Her areas of special interest include cardiovascular prevention programmes and RESEARCH.
DR. TITI ADEKOJE: - CONSULTANT PAEDIATRICIAN
She graduated from the College of Medicine University of Sokoto in 1987 and undertook her Housemanship training at Lagos University Teaching Hospital. Her Postgraduate Residency training in Pediatrics was at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital culminating in the award of the Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP, 2007).Her areas of special interest include Pediatric Intensive Care, Hematology and Neurology.
DR. JEROME OHENE:- CONSULTANT SURGEON
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Jos with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 2000.He did his postgraduate medical training at the Jos University Teaching Hospital and became a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS,2009) in General Surgery. His areas of special interests include Surgical Endoscopy and Minimal Access Surgery.
DR. OLUGBENGA DAINI:- CONSULTANT RADIOLOGIST
He graduated from College of Medicine, University of Lagos with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree in 1991.
He is a fellow of the National Postgraduate College of Nigeria (FMCR 2003).
His area of interest is Neuroradiology.
DR. OLUJIMI COKER - CONSULTANT SURGEON
He graduated from University College Hospital, Ibadan in 1984 where he also did his internship. His basic surgical training was on the North Manchester Basic Surgical Training scheme in the UK following which he passed his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1990. He did his Higher Surgical Training University of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and was appointed as Consultant General Surgeon and Coloproctologist at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Clinical lecturer in Surgery at the University of Sheffield UK in 1999. His specialist interests include laparoscopic surgery and colorectal surgery.
