Obstetrics:

Both Consultant led and Midwife led care is available dependent on your individual birthing requirements. Once your baby is born we offer evidence based advice on feeding and caring for your newborn, postnatal exercises and paediatric services such as newborn hearing tests, in addition to frequent visits to the paediatrician.

Gynaecology:

Gynaecologists are involved in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the female reproductive organs. It includes management of conditions like fibroids, infertility, menstrual disorders and sexually transmissible diseases.

The Lagoon Hospital Gynaecology Clinic is well equipped to provide a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic minimally invasive procedures e.g. laparoscopy. As well as dealing with general gynaecological problems, the clinic offers specialist advice and management of abnormal cervical smears, ovarian cysts, ovarian screening and endometriosis. Should further treatment be required, the hospital has a well equipped day surgery theatre where a well range of minimal access procedures can be carried out.
