Emergency

When it comes to the monitoring and caring of patients with life threatening illnesses, the highest care is required. The emergency room (ER) is part of our critical care unit and provides 24 hour services for all types of injuries and emergency situations.

The emergency ambulance response service is coordinated through a 24hour care call centre (Telephone 01 6283812-15) manned by appropriately trained staff. Through this centre, fully equipped and dedicated ambulances can be sent out from any of our 3 hospitals in Apapa, Ikeja and Victoria Island to the site of an emergency.

The ambulance service can also be accessed directly through any of the Lagoon Hospitals. Our staff is fully trained in injury control and life support procedures and is able to safely evacuate to our E.R. Once stabilized in the E.R., cases can be rapidly moved to the Operating theatres, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or the In-patient wards as required.
