Management
The Company is headed by Group MD Fola Laoye, who is supported by a strong and experienced Group Executive Management team.
Mrs. Fola Laoye is Group MD and also sits on the Board of the Company.
Dr. Kunle Onakoya is CEO of the Lagoon Hospitals and sits on the Board of the Company.
Mr Kola Awokoya is Managing Director Hygeia HMO with a Bsc Business Administration, A.C.A (I.C.A.N). He joined Hygeia in 1989. He has been on a Management development course at PriceWaterHouseCoopers (1993), and has attended the Advanced Management Programme-(A.M.P-6) at Lagos Business School (April-July 1996). He has also attended Health Insurance training/Impact seminars organised by Healthpartners (Minnesota), The World Bank Institute, International Finance Corporation (I.F.C), The Wharton Business School and London Business School.
Mrs. Njide Ndili is the Head of Information Technology and Corporate Services for the Group and has been in the Health Insurance Industry for over 13 years. Prior to her present role as CEO, she was the Chief Operating Officer of Hygeia HMO for two years, covering Strategic and Network Operations across its regional offices. Njide is a graduate of the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme (AMP) and has an MBA from the University of Houston, with a concentration in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Finance. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and a B. Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria.
Mr. Tunde Dada is the Group Chief Finance Officer. A Chartered Accountant of 24-years standing, Tunde holds a Masters' Degree in Banking and Finance and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and a Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
Dr. Olayiwola Oladapo is the Group Head of Human Resources. Layi is a graduate of Veterinary Medicine from University Of Ibadan, Nigeria. His HR professional experience cut across the Human Resource consulting and management fields. Layi is a certified Management Trainer from The Center for Management Development in Nigeria. He has trained in Workplace Conflict Management and Mediation, from the Mediation Training Institute in Kansas USA and as a Myer Briggs Type psychometric Indicator (MBTI) Administrator from Jopie Van Rooyen in South Africa. He has also trained with SHL in South Africa in Work Profiling and Competency Development Management.
Mrs. Fabia Ogunmekan is the AGM, Corporate Services. Fabia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from the University College London, and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (BL). She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Law and Development from the University of London and has participated in the Senior Management Programme (SMP) from the Lagos Business School. She provides support for new project initiatives, in-house legal advisory and group brand strategy.
