Mr. Ramesh Kurup is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Hygeia HMO. Ramesh comes with over 22 years of field experience in Accounting, Health and General Insurance. He is a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) graduate from the University of Kerala, Kollam, India and also a Member of the Insurance Institute of India. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Strategis Insurance Limited, Tanzania, where he was responsible for the various operations of the organisation. He also held various senior management roles at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, Trivandrum, India and The New India Assurance Co. Ltd India. In Hygeia HMO, he oversees the entire operations of the organisation and provides quality leadership and superior direction to ensure efficient and all round professional performance of the business. He joined Hygeia HMO in January 2012.
Dr. Oladoyin Sagoe: GM Client Services, She obtained a Medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, a Masters degree in Public Health from the same university and an associate fellow of the National Postgraduate college of Public Health. She has over 20 years experience as a medical practitioner working with the department of hospital services of the federal ministry of health where she rose to the position of Deputy Director. She joined Hygeia HMO in August 2007, as the medical adviser and in November 2007 took over the provider services unit as General Manager.
Dr. Harrison Okafor: Head Medical Services, obtained his M.B.Ch.B degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, he has a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy Management and holds a certificate in HMO operations. He joined Hygeia HMO in 2005 as a Care Coordinator and later became the Lagos Regional Manager and the Head of the Provider Unit. He has attended training and workshops including training in Corporate Value and Culture training and Change Management. He is an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Strategy Management, Nigeria (ISMN). He has 12 years working experience in healthcare. He is currently preparing for certification in healthcare quality (CPHQ), awarded by the National Centre for Quality Assurance, USA.
Mrs. Opeyemi Oyawoye: AGM Marketing, with 19 years working experience in marketing, she obtained her BSc degree in Zoology from the Ondo state University, an MBA degree specializing in Human Resources and a certificate from the Lagos Business School in Strategic Marketing Management. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Brand Management and Ife Business School. She worked with Odua Telecom Ltd as Brand Marketing Analyst before joining Hygeia HMO limited in 2005 as a Marketing Manager. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Mr. Dotun Adebajo: Regional Manager - Abuja, has a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSC) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and completed course work in Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) specialising in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Ibadan. Prior to joining Hygeia HMO limited in 2003 as Care Coordinator, he worked as a Community Development Facilitator (UNV) with UNDP 5th Country Programme in Malawi, Central & Southern Africa and Later worked as the Policy Analyst with JAAIDS on Access to ARVs by PLWAs in ARV Centres in Nigeria. He was deployed to Abuja as the Regional Manager in 2005 as head of HMO Regional operations Coordinating Administrative and operations of the Regional Offices.
Mr. Olabisi Omotosho: Zonal Head, Abuja & North - He is the Zonal Head, Abuja and Northern Region. Prior to joining Hygeia HMO, ‘Bisi worked at Celtel Nigeria Limited (now Airtel Networks Limited) in various roles in the sales department. While at Celtel, he implemented a revolutionized distribution model in Plateau State, enhancing the market share of the network. He is an Associate member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (AMNIMN). ‘Bisi holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and has participated in the General Management Program of the Lagos Business School.
