NHIS Plans
The first phase of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) launched by the Federal Government on June 6th 2005, is a health and welfare scheme aimed at providing affordable quality healthcare. It has increased countrywide awareness of health insurance schemes. We are accredited as one of the HMOs to administer the first phase of NHIS (Formal Sector) Programme.
Corporate Plans
We offer prepaid HMO plans for corporate clients that cover employees and their dependants. There are five plans to choose from: HyEssential, HyPriority, HyClassic, HyAdvantage and HyPrestige.
Plans for SMEs and Families (Minimum of 10 family members)
There are four healthcare plans to choose from – HyPriority, HyClassic, HyAdvantage and HyPrestige.
Worksite Clinics
We operate work site clinics for corporations countrywide. These are set up within client premises and managed by Hygeia HMO.
HIV and AIDS and Preventive Programmes
We have developed skills in HIV and AIDS care and support in the following areas:
- Implementation of workplace programmes (Advocacy)
- Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT)
- Treatment protocols covering:
- Pre-treatment screening
- Anti-Retroviral Triple Drug Therapy
- Provision of prophylactic drugs.
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Confidential documentation and processing
24 Hour Call-Centre
This is run by well-trained healthcare personnel who pro-actively facilitate out of station and emergency care.
