Scheme monitoring and evaluation

The PharmAccess Foundation has oversight over the scheme management and administration. The foundation is responsible for the scheme monitoring and evaluation. The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team of PharmAccess conducts bi-annual visits to Nigeria to measure the continuous quality improvement of the health care providers in the upgrading program.

The overall objective of the M&E is to monitor the improvement of quality of the providers in the HIF program and to identify priorities for further improvements to achieve designated endpoints. These endpoints are that each provider should be able to perform on a self-sustainable quality level.

The report of each M&E assessment is used to guide further provider quality improvement and the design of new upgrade plans. This creates a momentum that propels the providers along the quality improvement spectrum with potential benefits for the thousands of individuals enrolled in the HCHP.
