Selection

The participating hospitals were selected after an intense and rigorous due diligence exercise that evaluated their structural and process capabilities to provide quality health care services. The network is not open-ended; providers are enlisted on need-to basis and following an intensive due diligence assessment by PharmAccess Foundation. Other requirements for provider enlistment are:

• Proximity to the  target communities
• Familiarity with health insurance/managed care concepts an advantage
• Ability to demonstrate willingness to implement recommended quality improvement plan
• Infrastructure, equipment & capacity building requirements performed
• Compliance with statutory MOH requirements
